Hydrocyclone Liners: Match the Material to the Wear Zone

Liners and interface spares for classification, desliming, fines recovery and thickening installations. The hydrocyclone body has no rotating drive parts: liner profiles, inlet and outlet dimensions, sealing and operating pressure are the key requirements. Check Separator discharge regulator parts separately.

Standard Models and Key Dimensions

Size Range and Key Interfaces

Hydrocyclone diameter is only the starting point. Liners must also match the cone angle and the dimensions of the inlet, vortex finder and spigot.

Wear Parts

Wear Parts for Feed Chambers, Barrels, Cones and Outlets

Rubber can absorb particle impact in wet abrasive service. Polyurethane selection requires checks of chemical compatibility and temperature; ceramics primarily address abrasive erosion. Select the material for the specific slurry.

Spare Parts

Housings, Seals and Discharge Regulator Parts

Select parts to match the actual hydrocyclone or Separator configuration, including the housing, seals and discharge regulation system where fitted.

Barrel and Cone Housings and Connecting Flanges

Housings & Flanges

For bolted sectional housings, check flange bolt spacing, sealing faces, liner location and design pressure.

Materials and Operating Conditions: Specify structural materials and corrosion protection from the drawing; select liner materials separately.

Separator Automatic Discharge Regulator Parts

Automatic Discharge Regulator

For Separator installations equipped with an automatic discharge regulator only; not interchangeable with parts for conventional open-underflow hydrocyclones.

Materials and Operating Conditions: Check the regulator profile, elastomer specification and piping configuration.

Are liners interchangeable between hydrocyclones of the same diameter?

Diameter alone is insufficient. Also check the inlet profile, barrel and cone lengths, cone angle, liner thickness, flange bolt spacing and vortex finder insertion dimensions.
