The hydrocyclone body has no rotating drive parts: liner profiles, inlet and outlet dimensions, sealing and operating pressure are the key requirements. 4–36 in is the product size range, not an exhaustive model list. Use the nameplate, serial number and interface dimensions for quotation.
Rubber can absorb particle impact in wet abrasive service. Polyurethane selection requires checks of chemical compatibility and temperature; ceramics primarily address abrasive erosion. Select the material for the specific slurry.
Feed Chamber & Inlet Liner
Tangential or involute inlet areas face erosion from high-velocity slurry. The inlet profile must match the existing housing.
Materials and Operating Conditions: Assess rubber, polyurethane or ceramic options for erosion, particle impact and chemical compatibility.
