Models, rotors, hammers, grate baskets and tools in one place

TITAN pre-crushes material between two rotors, crushes it further against the anvil and controls product size through discharge grates. It handles medium-hard raw materials such as wet limestone, marl, clay, chalk and gypsum. This page focuses on data and technical routes needed for spare-parts supply.

Hammers, anvils, grates and housing wear parts

Impact, compression and sliding wear differ by position. Hammers, anvils, bars, grate segments and housing liners link to their respective component and material pages.

Swing hammer
01

Swing hammer

Swing Hammer

Mounted on the hammer axles of both rotors, these perform the main impact crushing. Confirm weight, bore, thickness, row position, rotation direction and five-axle arrangement against the full TITAN model.

Material selection: OEM literature specifies cast or forged hammers suited to the duty. Candidate systems include wear-resistant alloy steel, manganese steel and high-chromium composites; finalize against material conditions and original drawings.

Central anvil
02

Central anvil

Central السندان

Located downstream of the rotors, the anvil further breaks lumps after pre-crushing. Confirm profile, supports, fixing holes, left/right position and wear allowance from installed drawings.

Material selection: Concentrated impact and compression require toughness and surface wear resistance. Assess alloy cast steel, composite casting or local reinforcement.

Discharge grate bar
03

Discharge grate bar

Grate Bar

Grates below the rotors control product size through their gaps. Check section, length, gap, orientation and basket support interfaces together.

Material selection: Grates face impact, compression and sliding wear. Evaluate high-chromium alloys, alloy steel or composites with blockage and fracture risks in mind.

Grate segment / screen plate
04

Grate segment / screen plate

Grate Segment / Screen Plate

Segments in the discharge area form sizing openings with the bars. Curvature, slots, thickness, joints and supports vary with model and target product size.

Material selection: Select high-chromium alloys or wear-resistant steel for impact, abrasion and hot or wet feed; control casting defects, dimensions and assembly gaps.

View the common part page →
Side housing liner
05

Side housing liner

Side بطانة المبيت

These protect rotor sides and housing walls while clearing the hammer path. Confirm handedness, curved faces, holes, overlaps and access-door positions against the specific housing.

Material selection: For lateral impact and rubbing, assess quenched-and-tempered wear plate, alloy castings or local composite liners. Fixing-zone toughness and hole accuracy also matter.

View the common part page →
Feed and discharge area liners
06

Feed and discharge area liners

Feed / Discharge Area Liner

These cover the feed inlet, drop points and transition below the grates. Identify inlet impact and discharge sliding-wear zones separately; do not assume identical thickness or material.

Material selection: Select wear plate, rubber composites or polyurethane by drop height, lump size, wet stickiness and sliding speed, then confirm fixing and blockage-clearing needs.

Rotors, hammer axles, supports and drive spares

Confirm rotor assemblies, pentagonal shafts, hammer axles, bearing housings, pulleys and grate-basket trolley parts for their respective interfaces, loads, manufacturing and inspection requirements.

Five-hammer-axle rotor assembly
01

Five-hammer-axle rotor assembly

Five-Axle Rotor Assembly

The OEM rotor comprises a shaft, discs, hammer axles, spacers and end supports. Confirm diameter, width, disc spacing, hammer rows and dynamic balance together for the TITAN model.

Material selection: Specify materials, heat treatment and inspection separately for shafts, discs and connectors according to torque, impact fatigue, welding or forging and balancing requirements.

View the common part page →
Pentagonal rotor shaft
02

Pentagonal rotor shaft

Pentagonal Rotor Shaft

The OEM brochure shows a pentagonal shaft matched to revised discs and hammer weights. Its section, journals, keys or connections, disc positions and heat treatment cannot be replaced by a generic round-shaft design.

Material selection: Control material, forging ratio, quench and temper, mechanical properties, ultrasonic inspection, journal machining and fatigue life as a large forging.

View the common part page →
Hammer axle / pin
03

Hammer axle / pin

Hammer Axle / دبوس المطرقة

Axles pass through rotor discs and support multiple swing hammers under repeated impact, bending and shear. Check diameter, length, end locking, hammer clearances and extraction direction with the rotor.

Material selection: Specify high-strength, tough alloy steel, quench and temper or surface hardening, straightness, surface quality and NDT; hardness alone is insufficient.

View the common part page →
Rotor bearings and housings
04

Rotor bearings and housings

محامل الدوار & Housing

These support high-speed impact loads from both rotors. Confirm bearing type, clearance, housing bore, covers, seals, lubrication and handedness against installation records.

Material selection: Procure bearings to the original type and clearance. Confirm housings, covers and seals against drawing materials, machining accuracy, NDT and lubrication conditions.

View the common part page →
Drive pulleys and V-belts
05

Drive pulleys and V-belts

بكرة القيادة & V-Belt

Confirm motors, pulley diameters, groove profiles, ratios, bores, keyways, taper bushes and guards. Do not copy the left/right drive layout from appearance alone.

Material selection: Choose cast steel, ductile iron or fabricated steel pulleys for torque, speed, balance and fits. Check belt section, matched sets and length.

View the common part page →
Grate-basket trolley rollers and guides
06

Grate-basket trolley rollers and guides

Grate Basket Trolley Roller & Guide

These support hydraulic basket removal and installation. Confirm wheel diameter, track gauge, flanges, bearings, guides and clearance to side doors against the site arrangement.

Material selection: Select alloy steel, surface hardening and sealed bearings for contact stress, low-speed heavy loads and contamination.

Special Tooling

OEM-documented TITAN maintenance tools

Only the hammer-axle extractor and hydraulic grate-basket trolley explicitly documented for TITAN in the OEM brochure and current service pages are shown. Reconfirm tool parameters for each model.

Hammer axle extractor
01

Hammer axle extractor

Hammer Axle Extraction Device

The OEM brochure states that each TITAN double-shaft crusher has an axle extractor for safe axial removal and replacement of the complete hammer set. Confirm stroke, support points, alignment and capacity for the rotor.

Submit rotor drawings for extractor assessment →
Hydraulic grate-basket replacement trolley
02

Hydraulic grate-basket replacement trolley

Hydraulic Grate Basket Trolley

The brochure shows basket removal by hydraulic trolley after opening the side doors. Confirm capacity, gauge, supports, hydraulic stroke, locking and access space from housing and basket assembly drawings.

Submit basket and housing drawings for trolley assessment →

Is TITAN 80 D 160 enough to identify a hammer?

No. Confirm serial number, hammer weight and rows, bore, axle, rotor discs, rotation direction, drawing number and revision.

Should hammers, grates and anvils use the same material?

Do not assume so. Impact, compression, sliding wear, fixing and fracture risks differ. Select materials and processes separately for each position and duty.

Is the internal label Hammer Head@15kg an OEM part number?

No. It is a descriptive filename without a traceable OEM catalogue reference to a TITAN model, position and drawing revision, so it is not published as an OEM part number.
