Part Function

Collect Slurry from the Grates and Direct It toward the Inner Channels

Outer pulp lifters lie between the grate backs and inner lifters. Inlet area, channel volume, vane direction, position and worn profile affect slurry transport, flowback and discharge capacity.

Before replacement, check mill rotation, grate position numbers, inner and outer radii, channel depth, interface steps, hole locations and the quantity per set.

Check alignment with grate openings, inlet steps, particle impact, plugging and wear behind the grates.

Lifting Channels

Check vane-surface erosion, grooving, changes in channel volume and slurry flowback.

Inner Interface

Check steps at the inner lifter connection, continuity of the flow section, misalignment and localized perforation.

Fastening and Support

Check cracks around holes, looseness, rear-surface erosion, seals and support contact.

The final grade, heat treatment, hardness and acceptance criteria depend on the agreed drawing, installation position and operating conditions.

Tough, Wear-Resistant Alloy Steel For lifters requiring load-bearing strength, impact resistance and profile retention. Select steel grade and heat treatment for the section size, erosion, particles and cracking risk.
Rubber-Metal Composite Construction Combines elastomer support with metal wear surfaces in a validated discharge design. Check channels, reinforcement, bonding and fastening.
Wear-Resistant Rubber Assess for the particle size, temperature, slurry and channel conditions. Evaluate cutting, tearing, erosion and reinforcement.
High-Hardness White Iron Wear Surfaces Assess only for localized or composite designs with controlled impact and reliable support. High-hardness materials are not a universal choice for severe-impact locations.

Record wear locations together with grate openings, flow direction, mill rotation and adjacent parts.
