Brand and History

From Open-Pit Mining Heritage to the Current TAKRAF Group Portfolio

Brand history supports identification of current and legacy equipment. ANRANST is neither the OEM nor an authorized agent. Manufacturing and quotation require the complete model, project number, serial number, drawing reference, revision and actual interfaces.

1725 The industrial foundations were established in Lauchhammer, later developing into large-scale mining and bulk material engineering capabilities.
1926 TAKRAF history records the first supply of bucket-wheel excavators, establishing a foundation for continuous open-pit mining equipment.
1964 The TAKRAF trademark was registered, identifying mining, bulk material handling and large engineering equipment.
1994–2007 The business operated as MAN TAKRAF. Check legacy nameplates, drawing references and installed equipment against the relevant period.
2007 Techint Group acquired TAKRAF and integrated it into Tenova.
2012 Comminution technology development began, followed by sizers, double roll crushers and HPGR equipment.
2014 DELKOR was integrated into the group, adding wet mineral processing and solid/liquid separation products.
2020 The former Tenova Mining Division adopted the TAKRAF Group identity, retaining DELKOR as a group product brand.
