Bearing, Sleeve and Seal System
Check bearings, shaft sleeves, bearing housings and shaft seals separately within the HIGmill vertical main shaft support system. Match these parts to the installed model, journal dimensions, fits, tolerances, lubrication and seal design; generic names alone are insufficient.

Identify the four part types separately or specify a combined support and sealing kit
Bearings carry radial and axial loads; sleeves provide fit, protection or positioning; housings establish mounting datums and lubrication passages; shaft seals separate lubricants from slurry, moisture and dust. State whether the RFQ covers an individual replacement or a repair kit with mating parts.

Four areas to check in the support and sealing system
Parts with the same name may have different dimensions and construction across HIGmill models and equipment versions.
Main shaft bearings
Check bearing type, inside and outside diameters, width, clearance, accuracy, load direction, lubrication method and original bearing designation.
Shaft Sleeves and Bushings
Check the mounting journal, interference or clearance fit, wall thickness, length, locating features, surface hardness and wear allowance.
Bearing Housings and Covers
Check mounting datums, bore diameter, coaxiality, lubrication passages, fastening holes, split construction and frame connections.
Shaft Seal Assemblies
Check seal type, shaft diameter, grooves, operating pressure, temperature, speed, process medium, elastomers and mating metal parts.
Match materials to part function and failure mode
Use material pages for initial selection. Confirm the final grade, hardness, heat treatment and seal material against the drawings, operating medium and temperature.

Confirm bearing designations, sleeve dimensions and seal specifications for each model separately.
