Drawing and Engineering Review
We review mating surfaces and interface dimensions and assess material, heat treatment and manufacturing feasibility.
Withstands falling lump impacts and protects the inlet housing.
Feed Inlet Liner (Feed Inlet Liner)— Hammer Crusher Wear part, position 20.
| Material Options | Quenched and tempered wear plate in the 400–500 HB range, high-manganese steel, rubber/ceramic composites or OEM-specified impact-resistant liners |
| Typical Properties and Acceptance Criteria | Prioritise impact resistance and support at the first impact point; higher surface hardness may suit sliding zones. For hard plate, check hole edges, weld heat-affected zones and vulnerable edges. Rubber/ceramic composites require validation for lump impact, bonding, temperature and material build-up. Acceptance checks also cover segmentation, plate thickness, seating, fastening and flow path geometry. |
| Principal Failure Mechanism | Impact, cutting and abrasive wear; sliding and three-body abrasion, local impact and cracking around fastener holes |
