Central to slurry transport. Impellers, throatbushes and volutes face erosion, cavitation and corrosion. Select high-chromium iron or elastomers for the duty at each wear location.

Centrifugal slurry pumps transport solids-bearing fluids such as mineral slurry, ash slurry and mud. Wear is concentrated in the impeller, casing liners, side liners and throatbush. Select metal or elastomer materials for particle characteristics, solids concentration, temperature and corrosiveness.
