Carries the apron liners, sets the crushing gap and moves as designed during adjustment or overload protection.
Impact Apron Assembly (Impact Apron Assembly)— Impact Crusher Wear part, position 14.
| Installation Position | Adjustable structure above and behind the rotor carrying the first through third apron liners, position 14 in common layout A. |
| Main Function | Carries the apron liners, sets the crushing gap and moves as designed during adjustment or overload protection. |
| Replacement Frequency | Low replacement frequency; repair or replace for deformation, cracks, worn pivot bores, distorted liner seats or loss of adjustment range. |
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Material Options | High-strength cast steel or welded structural steel with replaceable liners on the working face |
| Typical Properties and Acceptance Criteria | The apron body supports the liners and requires adequate yield strength, stiffness, impact toughness and weld quality. Acceptance checks focus on overall straightness and flatness, liner seating faces, pivot bores, adjustment connections, weld NDT and deformation. Manage the apron body separately from its liners; a replaceable liner material is not automatically suitable for the supporting structure. |
| Principal Failure Mechanism | Abrasion, fatigue, corrosion or assembly damage; use photographs of failed parts from the site to identify the dominant mechanism |
