Main Shaft Assembly

The central load-bearing assembly built around the mainshaft, with the crushing head, liners, protective parts, fasteners and mating parts.

Main Shaft Assembly(Mainshaft Assembly) is a gyratory crusher assembly. Verify its interfaces with adjacent mainshaft, spider, liner, eccentric and hydraulic system parts against the actual machine arrangement.

Installation position and function

Installation Position	On the crusher centreline, supported by the upper spider and interfacing with the lower eccentric and hydraulic systems.
Main Function	Carries the crushing head and mantle, converts eccentric gyratory motion into crushing action and receives axial support from the hydraulic system.

Drawing-based manufacture and technical review

Check the mainshaft, protective sleeve, head nut, mantle, splash curtain, seals and mating parts individually against the mainshaft assembly drawing. The mainshaft and protective sleeve must remain separate part identities.

Required Ordering / RFQ Information

OEM, complete model, serial number and assembly or part number;
Latest drawing revision, dimensions, unit weight, critical tolerances and assembly interfaces;
Current material, heat treatment, hardness, mechanical properties and nondestructive testing requirements;
Failure photos, wear measurements, crack locations, current service life and target life;
Fit with adjacent parts, fastening, lubrication, sealing and assembly/disassembly requirements.

Parts or assemblies with the same name can differ between brands, series and production periods. Confirm the complete model, drawing number and revision before manufacture.
