Eccentric assembly

The drive assembly that produces gyratory motion of the mainshaft.

Eccentric assembly The eccentric assembly is a gyratory crusher assembly. Check its interfaces with adjacent mainshaft, spider, liner, eccentric and hydraulic-system parts against the installed configuration.

Installation position and function

Installation Position	Around the lower mainshaft, within the bottom-shell and drive-gear area.
Main Function	Eccentric motion drives the mainshaft and crushing head in a gyratory path, while the gear and axial wear parts transmit and support loads.

Drawing-based manufacture and technical review

Confirm part numbers, clearances, lubrication and material requirements for the eccentric body, bushing, gear, eccentric wear plate, support plate, keys and adjacent mating surfaces.

Latest drawing revision, dimensions, unit weight, critical tolerances and assembly interfaces;
Current material, heat treatment, hardness, mechanical properties and nondestructive testing requirements;
Failure photos, wear measurements, crack locations, current service life and target life;
Fit with adjacent parts, fastening, lubrication, sealing and assembly/disassembly requirements.
