Common Wear Patterns
- Vibration transmitted by blow bar impacts causes contact surface wear
- Wear of the clamping surface causes the blow bar to loosen
- Prolonged impact fatigue produces microcracks
Replacement Criteria
Assess replacement against the contact surface wear limits in the drawing. Inspect and replace the support strip if cracks occur or the blow bar cannot be secured.

Parts with the same name may not be interchangeable because of differences in machine model, drawing revision, mounting interface or material specification. Use the complete model, serial number, drawing number and drawing before manufacture.
