Major Components and Assemblies

Individual and Maintenance Parts

Individual and Maintenance Parts

01

Grinding Ring

Technical Requirements
Working surface: approximately 58-65 HRC, depending on material and heat treatment. Control carbide distribution, cracking and roundness.
02

Grinding Roller

Technical Requirements
Working surface: approximately 58-65 HRC, depending on material and heat treatment. Control weight and outside diameter variation within each roller set.
03

Grinding roller shaft / mainshaft

Technical Requirements
A candidate quench-and-temper specification is approximately 28-36 HRC, with a typical tensile strength of at least 930 MPa; confirm against the drawing and material condition.
04

Grinding Roller Bearing

Technical Requirements
Raceway: approximately 60-64 HRC. Confirm bearing clearance and lubricant specification for the speed and load.
05

Classifier Wheel

Technical Requirements
17-4PH: approximately 35-44 HRC, depending on heat treatment. Dynamically balance the complete wheel to G2.5 or a stricter specified grade.
06

Classifier Blade

Technical Requirements
Al₂O₃: approximately HV 1,000-1,600, depending on grade. Control weight variation and mounting angles within each blade set.
07

Housing Liners

Technical Requirements
Hardox 400: typically 370-430 HBW; Cr26: approximately 58-64 HRC, depending on heat treatment.
08

Feed Chute Liner

Technical Requirements
Base plate: approximately 370-480 HBW, depending on grade. Consider wear-resistant steel for high impact and ceramics where impact is low.
09

Bottom Plate Liner

Technical Requirements
Approximately 370-430 HBW, or a hardfacing layer of approximately 55-62 HRC, depending on the selected material.
10

Roller Carrier / Spider

Technical Requirements
ZG270-500: a typical minimum yield strength of 270 MPa and minimum tensile strength of 500 MPa, subject to the applicable material standard.
11

Material Plough / Plough Blade

Technical Requirements
Cr26: approximately 58-64 HRC, depending on heat treatment. Work-hardening manganese steel is a candidate for high-impact service.
