Material Information

ZGMn18Cr2 manganese steel: a work-hardening candidate for sizer teeth. Suitability depends on impact energy, abrasiveness and tooth construction.
Cr26 high-chromium cast iron: a tooth material candidate for low-impact, highly abrasive service, with a candidate hardness of HRC 60-65 subject to the part specification.
Bimetallic construction: a high-chromium cast iron tooth crown on a forged steel base, combining abrasion resistance with base toughness.
Hardox 500/600: candidate wear-resistant plate grades for side and bottom liners. Confirm the hardness range for the specific product, thickness and material certificate.
