| Typical Properties and Acceptance Criteria | Rotor discs withstand high contact stresses at hammer shaft holes, centrifugal loads and cyclic bending. Acceptance checks cover material strength and toughness, internal casting, forging or weld quality, hammer shaft hole position and roundness, mainshaft connections, magnetic particle testing (MT) around holes, flatness and mass distribution. Repairing, hardfacing or sleeving hammer shaft holes requires engineering review and dynamic balance verification. |
