| Typical Properties and Acceptance Criteria | The rotor assembly is critical to safe operation at high speed and heavy load. Control hammer and spacer mass distribution, mainshaft-to-disc connections, hammer shaft hole condition, weld NDT, circular runout, and static and dynamic balance. Recheck mass matching and balance to OEM requirements after changing hammers, materials or shafts, or making weld repairs. Acceptance of individual parts does not establish acceptance of the complete assembly. |
