Carbon steel specification
Specify tension rod material, heat treatment, mechanical properties and thread production according to the model drawing. Inspect thread roots and the rod body for fatigue damage.
Alloy steel options
Assess alloy steel alternatives against rod loads, cross-section, threads and heat-treatment requirements, rather than equipment size alone.
Spring assembly
Specify the compression spring by wire diameter, coil diameter, active coils, free length, load-deflection relationship and material standard.
